12:00 - 13:30 CEST / 11:00 - 12:30 BST

Join us for the Early-Career Researchers Workshop "How to tame your supervisor?" organised by Chem2Change (Early Career Researchers Network of Association of Chemistry and Environment) and Serbian Young Chemists' Club (Early Career Researchers Network of Serbian Chemical Society).

Workshop, delivered by Prof. Elspeth Garman in the form of discussion as well as Q&A session, will address the issues that arise with supervisor-student communication during PhD research.

With words of Prof. Garman: "For you to get the most out of your relationship with your supervisor, it is crucial that you approach it with a positive and pro-active attitude. If you do this, you will realise there is much you can do to help it work for both of you. I will suggest various strategies for helping achieve this aim, and I very much hope you will contribute your suggestions too."

The event is open to postgraduates, PhD students, and postdocs in any discipline who want to improve their communication and relationship with their supervisor!
